Your Brightwave Agent Now Gets Its Own Computer

Your agents now run in their own dedicated computing environments, with their own tools, coordinating with each other autonomously. We've replaced the shared execution layer — the foundation underneath every research agent, document processor, and deliverable generator — entirely. Here's what that means.
Sandbox Agents
Each agent gets its own dedicated computing environment: a full sandbox with its own file system, controlled internet access, and persistent state throughout the conversation.
Every sandbox runs in a hardened gVisor runtime — the same container isolation technology used by Google Cloud to run untrusted workloads. Each agent's environment is completely isolated. No shared memory, no shared storage, no cross-sandbox access. Your firm's data stays within Brightwave's SOC 2 compliant infrastructure at all times.
Inside that environment, agents can install tools, write and execute code, pull live data from external sources, and produce professional deliverables. Upload a data room, ask for a financial model and competitive analysis, and your agent handles the full workflow — from data extraction to formatted output — securely, in its own isolated workspace.
Maximum capability. Maximum security.

Agent-to-Agent Orchestration
Complex deliverables no longer mean one agent trying to do everything. Brightwave agents now coordinate directly with each other through structured message passing — not just reporting back to a parent, but working as peers. A research agent passes its findings to a document agent while an Excel agent builds the financial model alongside it, exchanging context and results through a controlled coordination layer. When one agent spots an inconsistency — a mislinked citation, a formula referencing the wrong extraction — it flags the producing agent, which corrects course before anything reaches you.
All running in parallel, each in its own secure sandbox, from a single prompt. The result isn't a chain where one mistake cascades. It's a team that checks each other's work.

What this changes
Agents aren't limited to pre-built tools anymore. Traditional AI agents can only do what someone explicitly built a tool for. Sandbox agents have a full computing environment. Need to scrape a public data source, parse an uncommon file format, or run a statistical model that isn't in our toolset? The agent writes the code and executes it — flexible enough to handle novel tasks, isolated enough that nothing escapes. No feature request required.
Agents go deeper. With a persistent workspace, agents work through multi-step analyses spanning dozens of documents and multiple iterative passes — work that would take an analyst a full day, compressed into a single workflow. They maintain state across every step. Ask once. The agent remembers what it's working with, what it's already done, and what comes next.
Self-correcting output. Agents validate their own work — checking formulas, verifying data extraction, catching errors — and fix issues before delivering results.
What We're Seeing
Teams trialing sandbox agents are using them on live deal workflows — uploading full data rooms and getting back structured deliverables they can take directly into their IC process. We've seen agents ingest hundreds of documents in a single conversation and produce comprehensive Word reports, formatted PowerPoint decks, and multi-sheet Excel models with conditional formatting and functional formulas. In many cases, teams are incorporating the outputs with only minor adjustments.
Agents also have direct access to documents in your project's data room and to your firm's uploaded templates. A presentation agent populates your IC deck template with data already structured by a parallel analysis. The formatting your team expects is preserved because the agent builds from your template, not its own.
Try It
These capabilities are live now. If you want to see sandbox agents and agent-to-agent orchestration on your own deal data, reach out to your Brightwave rep and we'll run through it together.
If you're not yet on Brightwave, schedule a trial. Bring a data room and a messy workflow — we'll show you what your agents build when they have real infrastructure behind them.
