Nick von Pentz

Nick von Pentz is a software engineer at Brightwave, where he works on agent orchestration, secure agent sandboxing, and connected-app integrations. Before Brightwave, he spent seven years at Brave, rising from Software Engineer to Senior Staff Engineer across C++ browser development and large-scale Python AI services. Most recently he led backend for Leo, Brave’s built-in AI agent, building a RAG-powered chat application and deploying open-source language models. Earlier he led the antifraud team, whose classification framework detected over $100M in fraud. Nick studied Computer Science at Wesleyan University.
